Harutzim Bistro

About

Located in the heart of Jerusalem's Talpiot industrial zone, the "Harutzim" bistro-café is changing the way people think and act.

Offering a fresh healthful menu, created by an esteemed Jerusalem chef, Harutzim's specialty is about more than just a great menu – it's about giving people with disabilities the chance to work and develop careers in Israel's thriving restaurant industry.

The Harutzim bistro was born out of SHEKEL – Community Services for People with Special Needs' vision to include people with disabilities within the wider community, as a contributing part of the Israeli workforce. Today, the Harutzim bistro employs and trains people with disabilities in all areas of restaurant work, giving them a future that

all Israeli society can be proud of.

The combination of great food and added social value, together with its swank design and upbeat ambience, makes Harutzim the perfect spot for bringing visitors and tourists for a light meal and a true Jerusalem experience – at a great price!

*The Harutzim bistro-café is kosher lemahadrin and offers a flavorful chef menu of pastas, pizzas, salads, soups, fresh fruit juices, sandwiches and toasts, desserts, hot drinks and a bar. Harutzim caters for both sit down and take away meals and you can book ahead for special group events.
