Nocturno's spring "Live Music on Wednesday Nights" series continues with a live show by Doc and the Holy Smoke Trio.

The performance is a cover show featuring songs from the 60s through the 90s in a variety of styles – bluez, country and classic rock, performed by “Doc” Norman Cohen with his new acoustic ensemble “Holy Smoke Trio”, comprised of three guitarists and a balalaika.
Doc is indeed a former doctor, who always felt a strong pull to music. At a certain point he left medicine and decided to dedicate his time fully to music. Since then he has performed blues, rock and country in Europe and Israel.
Doc takes classics from the past of bands and musicians such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Willy Nelson, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, B.B. King, Eric Clapton and others and performs them in unique and original arrangements.
Sunday-Thursday: 6:30-1:30
Friday: 6:30 until Shabbat starts
Saturday night: from when Shabbat ends until 1:30
