The exhibition Re-Imagining Jerusalem presents the works of photographers from various schools and their perspective on the unique landscapes of Jerusalem from the middle of the 19th century until contemporary times.
The exhibition reflects the diverse perspectives of the photographers on the complexity of the city and its various components, revealing differing degrees of awareness. The exhibition focuses on the personal experience that derives from their encounter with the city, indicating the influence on all who visit and live in Jerusalem.
The exhibition Re-Imagining Jerusalem is based on photographs and books that are a part of the permanent BEIT AVI CHAI collection and seeks to engage in an artistic dialogue with these and additional works.
