Iris and Ofer Portugali with the Gospel Choir  present "Adon Haselihot": Jewish Gospel and Music from the Jewish Classics

The moving spirit of gospel combined with synagogue melodies in a concert that offers a variety of flavors, ethnicities and cultures, combining gospel and jazz with piyyutim, Jewish prayer, and local music.

On the program: Adon ha-selihot, Yedid nefesh, Likhvod hemdat levavi, Adon olam, and Shir ha-ma'alot.

Eighteen musicians on stage:
An 11-member chorus accompanied by an oud, guitars, Baroque recorders, cello, ethnic percussion instruments, piano, contrabass, and drums.

Admission: NIS 60, students: NIS 30

A joint venture of Beit AVI CHAI and the Givatayim Theatre

The events will take place in the Beit AVI CHAI courtyard. Warm attire recommended
