Beit Avi Chai presents "Tal Gur hosts Alon Oleartchik": Outstanding jazz meets poetry

Tal Gur hosts Alon Oleartchik in a moving concert based on Gur's album of settings of Israeli poetry, Basar va-dam-one of the top ten albums of 2012, according to Ha'aretz.
The duo will perform arrangements of poems by Avraham Halfi, Alexander Penn, Leah Goldberg, Pinchas Sade, and Nathan Zach. Gur and Oleartchik will add instrumental interludes that conduct a dialogue with the issues they deal with in their art: jazz and Hebrew song, Eretz Israel and foreign soil, naivet
