Beit Avi Chai presents "Sholom Aleichem Goes to the Theatre": A tribute to the greatest Jewish humorist.

Wednesday, December 7, 8:30 PM

He created the all-Jewish village Kasrilevke and brought Teyve the milkman, Mottel ben Pesya the cantor, and the fiddler on the roof to the stage, along with a host of colorful characters, pathetic and funny, from the Jewish shtetls of Czarist Russia. His stories and heroes still cast their magic spell, despite their weaknesses and because of their humanness. This artistic evening shines the spotlight on Shalom Rabinovich, a.k.a. Sholom Aleichem.

Host: Meir Ouziel

In conjunction with: Bimat Mofa'ei Hasifrut

With:
Leah Koenig, Avshalom Core, Sarit Vino-Elad, Hila De Castro, Ariel De Castro, and others

Admission: NIS 50; Students: NIS 20

This is a Hebrew-language only event.
