Haifa Theatre presents "The Ugly": What happens when an engineer discovers one day that everyone thinks he's really ugly? He decides to ask for help from a plastic surgeon, and is fitted with a new face. But what happens when he discovers that his face turned into another item in high demand? The play asks questions that engage us all, in an age of marketing and outer appearances. The play debuted in Berlin in 2007 and has already been seen around the world.
