This version of Savyon Liebrecht's short story, adapted for the stage by the author herself, won both Playwright and Actress of the Year at the 2007 Israeli Theatre Awards. The story follows two firmly religious Jerusalem sisters who set out on a mission to retrieve the elder sister's daughter, an independent-minded young lady who has fled Jerusalem to live - unmarried, God forbid - with her lover, a secular kibbutznik. Does love, in the end, find a way to mend all wounds? Hey, what do you think? Approximately two hours; includes intermission. In Hebrew.
