Spring in the Park: March-April-May 2013

The Jerusalem Park in cooperation with Tzeirim Bamerkaz and Merkaz Tzeirim present "Spring in the Park" at the Jerusalem Park, a series of twelve Saturday morning events in the Jerusalem Park in March, April and May 2013. Following last year's success, the series returns this year once again featuring arts and crafts workshops, activities, performances, attractions, and other surprises.


All activities will take place at the Jerusalem Park in Gazelle Valley from 10:00-14:00. Turn off at Motza where there will be signs to follow. Space is limited, early arrival recommended. Visitors are encouraged to bring bikes to ride around the park's paths.


May 2013:


May 4-5: Green Weekend in the Park

Families are invited to "green creativity": recycling and arts and crafts workshops, costumed performers, live music, children's performance of the classic story "Ayelet Metayelet" and more.

Also: The First "Jerusalem Wrap" bikeride will take place on Friday May 4, with 40 and 20 km riding options. For further details and registration click here.


May 11: Shavuot at Beit Yellin in Motza
Actors in Ottoman period costumes, tour of Beit Yellin, arts and crafts and movement workshops, live music, children's performance of the classic story "Ma'aseh Besipur" and more. Arrival to the site via shuttles only.


May 18: Sounds in the Park: get with the beat with drum circle workshops and capoeira for kids, ecological musical instrument craft workshop, live music, and more.


May 25: Closing event: "Yom Hatzvi 2": spectacular spring festival in cooperation with the Nature and Parks Authority, juggling workshop, arts and crafts booths, costumed actors, live music, children's performance of the classic story "Ayeh Pluto," and more.
