The 9th annual "Talking Art" conference for Jewish-Arab dialogue through performance art will take place on December 6, 2012, with a musical performance at the YMCA by Helen Sabila and Liron Meyuchas at 18:00.

The conference will take place in various locations around Jerusalem: the YMCA, Psik Theatre, and the Vertigo Dance Studio at the Gerard Bechar Center.

Dozens of Jewish and Palestinian artists from a variety of artistic disciplines (music, theater and movement) will participate in the conference, with the aim of creating and promoting creative cooperation between Jewish and Palestinian artists. As part of the conference there will be a musical performance open to the public, group workshops and master classes.

The performance by musicians Helen Sabila and Liron Meyuchas will be open to the public and free of charge. The show is an instrumental performance by two virtuosos from two edges of the city, who play together and individually on a variety of instruments including oud, middle eastern organ, pantam, Cajun, darbuka, rik, and hand drums.

To reserve a spot at the performance email jicc@jicc.org.il or call 02-672-8040.
