Wednesday at 21:30: Hebrew University Business and Economics Semester Opener party: As students begin a new academic year, HaTza'atzua begins its fourth year straight of Wednesday nights, with a new staff of Hebrew University students. This week, HaTza'atzua hosts a live show by Elisha Banai and the 40 Bandits, as part of the Bushmills Tour, now in Israel. On the bar level: rock pop and foreign music with live shows on screen. Special deals for students on alcohols and chasers until midnight. On the dance level: party with Shlomo Azoulai.
About the band:
Elisha Banai and the Bandits, a.k.a. "The Bandits" is a Jerusalemite rock band active since 2012. Elisha Banai, son of Orli Zilbershatz Banai and Yuval Banai (lead singer in Mashina) heads the band, hence the name. With: Elisha Banai: vocals and guitar | Mati Gilad: bass | Noam Verdi: electric guitar | Itamar Levi (of Boom Pam): drums. Five singles from the release album were released, and the album was released in February 2012, bringing the band into mainstream recognition. The band has appeared outside Israel several times, and opened for Jane's Addiction at the international Pic.Nick. Festival.
