The Museum of Islamic Art presents a series of lectures and performances in connection with its current exhibit, Travels to Yemen. The lectures will take place on Thusdays in November 2011 at 19:00.
Thursday November 17, 2011: "Travels to Yemen": a lecture by Naftali Hilger. The photographer of the exhibit will tell stories from his travels to Yemen in the past 24 years, with a fascinating photo display. Starting at 18:00 and again after the lecture, there will be a Yemenite jewelry workshop. An authentic Yemenite jewelry maker will make create and exhibit Yemenite jewelry.
Price for all three events: 120 NIS. 20% discount for seniors and
newsletter subscribers: 96 NIS. Price for each lecture: 40 NIS. Price
for the "Ayelet Hachen" performance: 60 NIS. Limited space - order
