The Musem of Islamic Art presents a lecture series inspired by its "Mystery of Lost Time" exhibit.

Lecture #1: In the footsteps of the Time Robber | October 26, 2010 | 19:00

Two senior Central Unit inquiry police officers will describe the robbery incident, from the time that the watches were stolen and up until the return of the collection.

Lecture #2: Where Did I Err? The Secrets of Time Are Revealed | November 2, 2010 | 19:00

Senior journalist Dani Rubenstein will reveal the full story of the robbery and recovery that took place over three decades.

Lecture #3: Time Flies | November 9, 2010 | 19:00

Mr. Michael Magen, preservation expert, will describe the process of preserving the royal Fan Clock in the collection. There are only 3 other fan clocks like this one in the world.


*All lectures will be in Hebrew.

*Price for the entire series: 100 NIS, includes a visit to the exhibit. 20% discount for students/soldiers/seniors. Space is limited; advance reservations are recommended.
