Attention, Israeli beer lovers: the time is now. The 2011 Jerusalem Beer Festival is upon us with even more cold, refreshing brews than last year.

 

Performances:

-Mercedes Band performing songs from their new album along with greatest hits

-Beit Habubot with new songs and familiar tunes

-DJs Elad and Ron from Tza'atzua Bar, and DJ Dror Shalit


Date and Time:
August 31st-September 1st, 18:00 to 24:00

Place: Old Train Station, Jerusalem

Price: NIS 30 / 25 NIS students, soldiers and holders of the Jerusalem resident card


More than 150 types of beers from Israeli and international breweries will be represented at the festival, celebrating its seventh year with over 20,000 visitors. This event has become an annual party, putting Jerusalem on the map with dozens of capitals around the world. The beers at this year's festival will come from the countries of Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Japan, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Thailand and more.


And of course, you can expect to find the following popular beers in attendance:
Goldstar, Carlsberg, Tuborg, Heineken, Maccabi, Guinness, Leffe, Hoegaarden, Paulaner, Murphy's, Stella Artois, and Weihenstephan, along with these lesser-known jewels: Alexander, Shapiro, Krombacher, Samuel Adams, Belhaven, Duvel, Maredsous, Schneider Weisse, Lindemans, Dancing Camel, and many more.


To enhance the drinking experience, a variety of foods will be sold as well: South American asado as only the Argentines can prepare, sausages from Germany, Dutch-style fries, and more.
