The third annual Festival of Light will take place from June 15th- June 22nd, 2011 in the Old City of Jerusalem. The festival continues to grow, this year hosting ten international artists who will display cutting-edge artistic work, along with dozens of performances, tours, artists, sites and more. This year, the display will highlight the unique relationship that exists between light and sound, creating a delightful multi-sensory experience.
This unique use of light attracted 250,000 visitors to the Old City last year and succeeded in introducing a new trend in Jerusalem nightlife, appropriate for the entire family and all ages.
The festival will take place between the hours of 20:00 and 24:00 and is an initiative of the Jerusalem Development Authority in cooperation with the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Municipality of Jerusalem. Sponsors include Bezeq, Mercedes, and more.
