The Israel Museum presents "Wall Work II: Dror Daum, Dead Leds"

In this work from 2009, Dror Daum filmed segments of large electronic billboards mounted in different public places around the country. The billboards are composed of thousands of minuscule LED bulbs that go on and off at set intervals, producing the darting image. Daum shatters the realistic, alluring image of the billboard, focusing on the abstract and the arbitrary and perpetuating the missing, dead bulbs.
