Darwin Now, a new exhibition at the Bloomfield Science Museum, marks his 200th birthday and 150 years to the publication of The Origin of Species.

Darwin Now, an exhibition of the British Council, was launched May 14 during a conference on evolution in arts and science. The conference is a cooperation with the department of theory & history of Bezalel academy of Arts).

In conjunction with the exhibit, the museum presents Darwin and the Voyage of the Beagle: a theatrical scientific show for the whole family about Darwin who returns home after a long journey around the world and at home his pet awaits him, his bird Isabelle. Isabelle is jealous of other birds that Darwin has collected on his journey and tries to convince him to change her to be more like the others. A humorous, scientific show relating to the main tenets of evolution.

The show is performed every Saturday at 13:00 and admission is 15 NIS (in addition to museum admission).
