Harel Orchestra hosts Culture Shock

The Alpert Music Center presents the Harel Orchestra hosting the a cappella group Culture Shock, a performance which brings together two young-spirited Jerusalem musical groups, eclectic both in terms of their physical make-up and musical style.

 

The Harel Orchestra is comprised of graduates of the Alpert Music School, a group of around 50 wind instrument players and percussionists, directed by Professor Eitan Avitzur. At this performance, the orchestra hosts Culture Shock, an a cappella group directed by Cheryl Leiberman, comprised of native Israelis and immigrants from various ethnic backgrounds, men and women, religious and secular.

 

Come hear a variety of pieces including Israeli music, World music, Jazz, musicals, classical and more.

 

Beer and Sing

Mondays at 21:30 at the Culinary Bazaar.

Daniel Zakai leads the audience in an exciting, emotionally stirring sing along. All beers come from “Hakatar” bar at the Bazaar and will be sold at discounted prices to attendees.
