Beit Shmuel presents "Between a mountain and a valley:" a Tu Bishvat Tour for Families

In honor of Tu Bishvat, Beit Shmuel hosts a Jerusalem nature tour. The tour starts off with breathtaking views of the Judean desert and Jerusalem. From there, participants will wander among a huge variety of Israeli flowers in the Emek Tzurim national park, alongside huge trees. Hear the story of King Solomon who ruled over the valley, visit beautiful churches built into the valley. Climb over ancient burial sites from Second Temple times, and hear the story of Avshalom, the son of King David, on this wonderful tour in the urban nature scene surrounding Jerusalem from the east. Flowers, trees, stories, churches, caves, and tombs. Modest dress required. The tour is in Hebrew.
