Ammunition Hill invites families, groups, and individuals of all ages to an assortment of activities over Sukkot 2013.


September 15-25, not including Shabbat, holidays, and holiday eves.

Activities for children and youth:

*Sukkah on the Hill: a Sukkah of creativity and guided arts and crafts, from September 22-25.

*"Challenge Tours" extreme sport adventures: rope bridge, omega, crossing a river, simulated parachuting, bungee swings and more. From September 22-25.

*Treasure on the Hill: treasure hunting missions and riddle solving inspired by stories of the Givat Hatachmoshet fighters


Additional activities:

*Guided tours of the battle site and visits to the Ammunition Hill museum (advance reservations required). Tours duration is approximately 1.5 hours

*Fascinating sound and light show: "The Battle for Jerusalem" Duration of light and sound show is approximately 25 minutes.

*Short background films at the small amphitheater

*Jerusalem: From you and toward you - a huge impressive photography exhibition

*Guided nighttime tour (advance registration required, minimum number of participants required)


For your convenience there is an on-site coffee and snack shop. Entrance to the hill, battle site, exhibit and museum is free!


Pricing for paid activities:

1. Everything included: 25 NIS adult, 12 NIS child
2. Family ticket (parents + up to 3 kids) "everything included": 100 NIS
3. Guide and sound and light show: 25 NIS
4. Sound and Light show "Battle for Jerusalem": 12 NIS
