Independence Day Dancing at the Israel Museum
Israeli dancing led by the "Hora Jerusalem" group. Dancing will take place in the Shrine of the Book Plaza from 11:00-14:00. The museum will be open from 10:00-17:00. For further details call 02-670-8811. Entrance is free.
Natural and Supernatural Forces at the Bloomfield Museum of Science
Visit the exhibit and participate in scientific demonstrations, as well as arts and crafts workshops for children. Dr. Molecule's performance will take place in the auditorium. Opening hours: 10:00-18:00. Free entrance to the museum.

"Jerusalem of Gold" Musical Event with the Gan Or Duo at the Bible Lands Museum
Eight musical guided tours will take place at the museum. Tours will set out every half hour from 10:30 - 13:30. Guest singer: Sarale Sharon with a sing along performance for the whole family from 13:00-13:30. Entrance is free.
Independence Day 2012 at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center
Celebrate Israel's 64th birthday at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center with an exciting sound and light journey for the whole family, which serves as a fascinating introduction to the life story of Menachem Begin, the sixth Prime Minister of Israel. In addition, 21 guided tours will take place between 9:00-19:00. Free entrance. Advance reservations are required: call 02-565-2020.
Music on Fire at the Yellow Submarine
The Yellow Submarine presents live performances by bands and indie artists, as well as open stage for young bands and and afternoon parties with DJs and video art from 14:00-19:00.

Old Yishuv Courtyard Museum: "A Day in the Life of Hacham Simantov Mizrachi"
What was it like to live in Jerusalem before the rise of the state? An interactive theatrical performance for the whole family will take place at 11:30. Entrance is free. In addition, there will be a playground of the past set up for kids to play in as well as a treasure hunt game in the museum. Opening hours: 10:00-15:00.
Bubizemer at the Tower of David Museum
The Tower of David Museum presents a festive sing along with Bubizemer in the courtyard from 17:00-19:00. The evening will be led by Arbel Fischer and Miron Agar. Entrance: 20 NIS
Jerusalem Theatre: Tararam and Street Theater
17:00-20:00: The Jerusalem Theatre presents a performance by Tararam and street theater, a variety of costumed characters and interactive graffiti seminars. Entrance: 15 NIS.
21:00: Miki Gavrielov and friends "On the Grass at Avigdor's" with Yirmi Kaplan, Tamar Eisenmann, and Chemi Rodner. Entrance: 25 NIS.
Train Theater: Wise in the Night (new show)
What do wise people do at night without a moon? Find out at the Train Theater's new show. The show will be preceded by a klezmer concert. At 10:00, 12:00, and 17:00. Entrance: 10 NIS.
Jerusalem Theatre group: Mazia House
Theatrical drum circle with songs of Israeli independence for all ages, plus costumed actors, clowns, and stilt walkers. Events will take place from 11:00. Entrance is free.
Psik Theatre at Mazia House:
Performances for kids "Arlakino Searches for a Treasure" at 10:00 and 13:00. Snow White and Seven Dwarves at 12:00. Entrance is free.
Incubator Theater at Mazia House:
Stories of creation from the bible with a twist. A humorous cabaret performance with pantomime, acrobatics, dance, clowining, magic, and song. At 15:00. Entrance is free.
Museum of the Underground Prisoners
Tours, workshops, arts and crafts, and treasure hunt games throughout the museum, from 9:00-18:00. Entrance is free.
"Alone on the Walls" in the Old City:
The "Alone on the Walls" exhibit will be open from 10:00-18:00. Entrance is free.
