The Opera Festival comes to Jerusalem! The Israeli Opera, the Jerusalem
Municipality, and the Jerusalem Development Authority are proud to
extend the Opera Festival to Jerusalem and its environs. The festival will feature a performance of Verdi's "Jerusalem," performed in Israel for the first time ever, a gala concert with the
"Arena di Verona" performing famous opera favorites, and chamber and
vocal concerts in Jerusalem churches and other significant sites.

On Friday, June 3, 2011, there will be ten concerts in churches and other significant historical and cultural sites in Jerusalem, each to be performed more than once.
