Colony presents a World Music Winter Concert series: a celebration of world music, fine food and beverages from around the world.


Thursday December 9, 2010 at 22:45: Elisette and Nova Beat Latin. Elisette is a Brazilian singer living in Israel, known for her sexy, sensual voice. Nova Beat is a contemporary world music ensemble that plays electronic music with ethnic and Latin elements. They play original compositions that range from electronic Bossa Nova to jumpy groove pieces. In addition they play covers of popular bands. Thursday December 16, 2010 at 22:45: Ofer Mazor and the Zarim: an ensemble that performs original quality rock music, based on texts that reach the depths of the soul. Their live performance is a rare, stirring, unique musical experience.


Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 22:45: Fiesta Flamenca: After a long stay in Spain while recording their first album, the band returns to Colony for their first performance back in Israel. They'll play some of their new new material as well as their well known and loved older music.


Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 22:00: Jerusalem Stone: Colony's house band with an energetic show, playing Israeli and foreign rock from the Seventies until today. Amir Schriber: guitar and vocals, Avi Ben Yosef: guitar and vocals, Yuda Ashash: bass and vocals, Shlomi Albo: drums, Meital Sayidoff: vocals. The concert will be followed by a New Year's party with a DJ at 23:30.
