The Jerusalem Municipality and the Local Authorities invite you to celebrate Israel's 62nd birthday with a wide variety of events in communities all around Jerusalem. Entrance to all events is free.
Independence Day Eve, April 19:
21:00 Beit Ross, Givat Mordechai, Yeshivat Noam Community Center: Torah sermons by Harav Kalorsky, the Lehava Orchestra, dancing, a performance by Adi Garsiel and fireworks at 22:30
21:30: Givat Shaul-Kiryat Moshe, Maimon School, Ben Zion St. 7. Torah sermon by Rabbi Eitan Eisman, dancing, Lehava Orchestra, a performance by blind students, a slide show by Beit Ross, and a childrens performance. At the end of the night there will be fireworks.
20:30: Gilo: In the amphitheatre of the high school on Vardinon St. 12: moonwalks, juggler, "Yofi shel Tofi" performance for children, and fireworks.
19:30 Homat Shmuel: In the sports arena in the community center, Shaul Avigor St. 9. Party and childrens activities. At 23:00: party for youth with a DJ.
19:30 At Kinor David Hall in the Minhal: festive prayer service. At 23:00 Israeli movies will be screened, the movies will continue throughout the night.

9:00-12:00 Neve Ya'akov, in the sports center: moonwalks for the whole family.
