Mirror Calculator: addition, multiplication, and other arithmatic operations with the help of mirrors. Kids will create a calculator out of mirrors at a workshop accompanied by guidance by the museum's educational staff. Try things out, experiment, and take home what you make. Hocus Pocus Mathamatics Demonstration: what the connection between magic, magicians, and mathamatics? How do magicians know how to figure out our age or which secret number we chose? Come experience, try for yourself, and be a magician using the wonders of mathamatics. Monday and Wednesday at 13:00 and 16:00, Saturday at 11:30 and 14:00
Flashlight in the Dark Workshop: This workshop for children and their parents (ages 5-10) takes place in the dark. How do we see at night? Which other senses are used when vision is limited? How do animals adjust to night vision? Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 and 16:00, Saturday at 11:00 and 12:30.
