Disney's animated television series Phineas and Ferb comes to visit the Bloomfield Science Museum with an experiential exhibit which takes the experience, imagination, creativity, problem solving, and team working of the show from the screen and into the "real world." At the building workshop which is designed to look like the back yard from the show, children and their parents can build roller coaster tracks and try it out on a challenging, twisty track, put together a hover car and drive it with the help of strong winds, and create a cable car and drive it on a taut cable. In addition to the project which kids will make to take home, there will also be a picture corner, where kids can be photographed with their favorite characters and sets from the show.
Museum opening hours in September:
Monday-Thursday: 10:00-18:00 | Friday: 10:00-14:00 | Saturday: 10:00-16:00. Sunday: closed. The museum will be closed on Rosh Hashanah.
Entrance fee until September 30: Children under 5: free | Children: 27 NIS | Adults: 34 NIS | Family ticket (parents and children under 18): 145 NIS | Yerushalmi card holders: 32 NIS | "Touching the Light" performance: 20 NIS | Additional discounts for seniors, soldiers, handicapped, students, and police.
The Touching the Light performance will take place on Saturdays and over the intermdiate days of Sukkot.
