Disney's animated television series Phineas and Ferb comes to visit the Bloomfield Science Museum over the summer of 2012 with an experiential exhibit which takes the experience, imagination, creativity, problem solving, and team working of the show from the screen and into the "real world." At the building workshop which is designed to look like the back yard from the show, children and their parents can build roller coaster tracks and try it out on a challenging, twisty track, put together a hover car and drive it with the help of strong winds, and create a cable car and drive it on a taut cable. In addition to the project which kids will make to take home, there will also be a picture corner, where kids can be photographed with their favorite characters and sets from the show.
