International Women's Day at the Bloomfield Science Museum
The Bloomfield Science Museum presents "On Science and Women Scientists, for Grandmas and Granddaughters": an event in honor of International Women's Day. The event will include a meeting with a young women scientist, the humorous Dr. Molecule in the Kitchen show, a guided tour of the museum's exhibits focusing on women's discoveries, and an encounter with TWISTY, a virtual character who will discuss women and science.
Discounted entrance fee for mother and daughter (and/or grandmother and granddaughter): 25 NIS. Entrance for individuals: 15 NIS.
The event is under the rubric of the European Union's TWIST project, which encourages young women to choose scientific career paths.
Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 18:00; Friday 10:00 to 14:00; Saturday 10:00 to 15:00; Sundays closed
