The Israel Museum is offering special events and discounts for children during Passover 2011.

 

April 18 -26 Free admission for children (excluding workshops and performances), courtesy of Sandy Batkin, in memory of his wife, Ruth Batkin.

April 15: From East to West: A Medley of Israeli Dances
14 dance troupes from around the country will be assembling in Jerusalem and mounting a
show at the Israel Museum, as part of the 13th Rishonim Festival - a joint production of Hora
Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Municipality.

April 20-21: Life - A User's Manual Sculpture Assembly Line
A series of materials will be placed on a long table. Moving from one station to the next, participants will gradually build a sculpture following instructions.

April 20: Fascinatin' Rhythm Ziv Eitan's Marimba Band
A rousing musical performance combining classical music, Brazilian music, and children's songs, engaging the audience in rhythmic games and the opportunity to experiment with musical instruments.
