October represents the beginning of fall and the rainy season. In honor of the mushrooms that the rain is expected to bring, Lavan at the Cinematheque will hold its third annual mushroom festival. Head chef Michael Katz and chef Sagi Azoulai have prepared a special menu with unique Italian-Mediterranean dishes, all of which include a wide range of fresh mushrooms.
