Shabbat is a day of enjoyment, learning, and uplifting. The aim of this new series is to rethink Sabbat and its role in our lives, to characterize Shabbat and its uniqueness and find new and meaningful ways to observe Shabbat.
Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:30: Kabbalat Shabbat with Gil Kopatch - Kopatch will drink and invite us to drink four cups with him in honor of the Tu Bishvat seder, and tell Hassidic stories and midrashim about Tu Bishvat, about the connection between man and the land, about Shabbat, and about how wine drinking in the bible affects the revelation of the most hidden secrets. An hour and a half of light spirited and humorous stories from the Gemara to welcome the Sabbath.
