Beit Shmuel presents "The Song of Songs and Other Songs": a group paper-cut exhibit.
Eight artists, members of a paper-cutting group, initiated this group exhibit featuring paper-cuts, a medium which has recently gained popularity. The exhibit will focus on themes connected to Jewish sources, with a special focus on themes from The Song of Songs. In contrast to past artists, whose work conformed to the accepted principles of design and content, this exhibit is proof that paper cut artists have reached a stage where they can enjoy full artistic freedom in all that is connected to personal expression.
