Beit Avi Chai presents "Songs from Home:" Israeli musicians connect with their musical roots

The renowned band returns to its roots and presents a concert full of Moroccan scents and flavors; soloist Yoram Hazzan will sing songs in his mother tongue.
The concert, including numbers such as "Qawana wahada" (There was one), a song written by Yoram Hazzan and sung in Moroccan (from the band's third album) and "'Alash qatuk ya warda," written and composed by Mohamed el Mazqaldi, a Moroccan singer and composer and one of the fathers of Moroccan folk music.

Dudu Tassa and the Kuwaitis

After years in rock 'n 'roll, Dudu Tassa dedicates himself to his life's project: an album of music by the al-Kuwaiti brothers (his grandfather and great-uncle), giants of modern Arabic music in the 1930s, with new arrangements and his personal signature.
In concert, Tassa sings from the al-Kuwaiti brothers' repertoire in Iraqi Arabic, in arrangements by Tassa and Nir Maimon, his partner in the production. The two recently won the ACUM prize for this album.
