Hebrew Jazz series: The Alligators - Music from the Roxane Generation
Refreshing interpretations of top Israeli songs | Artistic direction: Barak Weiss
The Roxan Club, which operated in the late eighties and early nineties, offered many young performers their first opportunity to appear on stage and served as the springboard for new rock bands, such as Carmela Gross Wagner, Eifo Hayeled, Nikmat Hatraktor, Nosei Hamigba‘at, and Dr. Casper's Rabbits - known as the Roxane generation bands. The Alligator ensemble presents surprising hard bop and funk settings of songs that blossomed in the Roxane club and became the soundtrack of the adolescence of its members and of many others.

With: Matan Klein, recorder | Koby Salomon, saxophones | Arnon De Botton, trombone | Noam Elron, contrabass | Ilan Zanir, drums
