Passover 2013 at the Museum of Natural History: The Hagaddah Comes To Life
The Museum of Natural History brings the Hagaddah to life over Passover through a variety of activities, games and tours exploring the natural phenomena behind each of the ten plagues.
Wednesday - Thursday March 27-28, 2013 from 10:30-15:30
Witness the staff turning into a snake, lions meeting Pharaoh, and worker bees toiling. During the course of a day at the museum, children and parents will reveal the natural phenomena behind the events of the Hagaddah through a variety of experiential and educational holiday-themed activities.
Highlights:
*Activities, games and tours exploring the natural phenomena behind the stories in the Hagaddah and the ten plagues.
*Story theatre for the whole family on the theme of the exodus from Egypt
*Inflatable bouncers for kids throughout the museum
*The museum's galleries, the bee hive, and the live animal corner will be open as usual
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00-14:00, Monday, Wednesday: 18:00-19:00, Saturday: 10:00-14:00. Fridays and holiday eves: closed.
