Passover Fun for the Whole Family at the Tower of David Museum: come celebrate spring with creativity and imagination.
Wednesday - Friday, March 27 - 29
Activities on Wednesday and Thursday, March 27-28
"All about Coins" - an experiential tour for children and families.
Three children from the past come to life and take everyone on a trip to look for ancient coins. Participants collect the coins in old-fashioned purses and, along the way, they learn about those moments of freedom that have left their mark on history.
"We Were Slaves in Egypt..."
A giant board game where children build an (almost!) life-size castle. Additional games integrate strategic thinking, movement and competition.
"The Kaiser is Leaving ..." - Take a photograph with the Kaiser to mark the closing of the Exhibition. Kaiser Wilhelm II and his wife Augusta Victoria invite the public to dress up and be photographed against the backdrop of a huge photo of the Jaffa Gate. Step inside the 19th century and come into a giant display of the first photography shop in Jerusalem where you can dress up in authentic costume with the members of the Balbalu Theater Troupe.

"The Kaiser is Coming!" showcases the famous journey to Jerusalem by Kaiser Wilhelm II and the Empress Augusta Victoria in 1898. Their trip was accompanied by worldwide media fascination and the exhibition highlights how the preparations, the personalities and the politics were reported in the international and local press. Using the technology and media of today to display an historical event, this exhibition proves to be stimulating, thought provoking and fun.
