Beit Abba is a Jerusalem ensemble that sings and plays piyyutim and original music inspired by Jerusalem's diverse culture.
The seven member ensemble seamlessly integrates traditional-liturgical sounds with contemporary sounds to create a modern Israeli ethno fusion: an organic connection from the point of view of these Jerusalem musicians, who experience the cross-cultural connections as part of the city's artistic routine. Oud and qanun player Elad Gabai founded and leads the group.
