The internationally renowned American Quartet was established in 1974 when its members were students in New York's Juliard School of Music. Their recordings include compositions by Beethoven, Schubert, Schoenberg, Bartok, and Mozart. Their most recent recording has all members playing on Stradivarius instruments. The quartet has performed all over the United States and in concert halls around the world.
The quartet performs and teaches every year at the Asfan Festival and at the Manhattan School of Music. The Quartet has taught in other music schools, participated in competitions, and appeared on TV and radio.
