Chanukah is here and as every year, the Museum of Islamic Art hosts a variety of performances and workshops for families to enjoy, including folk tales, legends, and performances from ancient times in the spirit of the holiday on the topic of light by the "Koreh" theatre and of course, arts and crafts workshops.

*Special Chanukah deal* children's museum ticket + one workshop + performance for only 25 NIS!

*Creative workshops: banish the darkness - in the spirit of Chanukah and inspired by the museum's exhibits. Weekdays from 10:00-15:30, Fridays from 10:00-13:00 (there is an extra fee for the workshops)

*Koreh Theater Festival, daily performances at 12:00 (included in museum entrance fee)

Theater Festival Program (all performances are in Hebrew):

Sunday December 9: "The Sultan and the Fire": a story inspired by "One Thousand Nights" about the big Sultan searching for fire to warm his cold heart.

Monday December 10: "The Empty Plant": In far-away China the elderly Caesar searches for an heir, and children in the audience are invited to inquire within.

Tuesday December 11: "Ramiana": An Indian-Diwali Chanukah story about the Prince Rama Sita, his lover and their victory over the King of the Demons. Told by Noam Paz.

Wednesday December 12: "The Adventures of the King from Plot-land": Welcome to the kingdom of "Glucose," where the hills are filled with sugar. Find out what happens here and how a simple story turned into a big mess. A story about light, shadows, and what is in between. An impressive, original show by the "Koreh" Theater group.

Thursday December 13: "Tales of the Enchanted Forest": A king, a queen, a fairy, a princess, an ice witch and one big coma - will the fire of love succeed in illuminating the darkness?
Sunday December 16: "King Solomon and the Bee": when the wisest of all men and the wise queen from the east meet, there's only one question: who's smarter?
