June 2012: Friday Afternoon Rock Concerts at the Botanical Gardens
They're back for a third season! The coolest series of outdoor performances for the hot, Jerusalem summer!
The performances will take place every Friday at 16.30 (gates open at 16.00), from June 8, 2012.
This summer, we'll be inaugurating our new performance lawn and stage on the lake!

Details about the concerts and the performers
8.6.2012 Berry Sakharof- Electro-acoustic music
Berry Sakharof is currently appearing in a limited number of concerts together with Gidi Raz on guitars and Itamar Dawari on percussion.
After several months of concerts before tens of thousands, with the focus on his new album '"You are Here", Sakharof will treat fans at the Gardens to some of the best-loved songs from his repertoire.
15.6.2012 "Tslil Mechaven"
Musicians Shem-Tov Levi, Shlomo Yidov and Isaac Klafter will sing and play songs from their album "Tzlil Mechaven" ("Tuned Tone" in English), as well as material from the individual repertoires of each artist. This is the first time in two years that this particular performance will be taking place.
Among the songs: Tzlil Mechaven, Children of the Moon, Maybe it's Over, White Days, Beduin Song, and more......
The concert will feature Shem-Tov Levi on flute and piano, Shlomo Yidov on classical guitar, and Isaac Klafter on electric guitar.

An intimate performance combining good music with humor. With his personality, wit and long stage experience, Matti Caspi is sure to give an exciting and memorable performance.
29.6.2012 Redband
Redband brings its zany performance to the Gardens to promote its new album, which includes the best from two seasons of the cult series.
Get ready for a hilarious musical performance at the center of which is Red Orbach, a wild, purple puppet, who plays hits from several periods and makes fun of the audience, his partners, and the whole world, along the way.
