The Museum of Islamic Art presents a series of lectures and performances in connection with its current exhibit, Travels to Yemen. The lectures will take place on Thusdays in November 2011 at 19:00.
Thursday November 24, 2011: "Ayelet Hachen": a musical performance by Shlomit Levy. An enchated performance of emotions, piyyut, and ancient Yemenite song in the diwan style. Accompanied by musicians on ethnic world music instruments.
Price for all three events: 120 NIS. 20% discount for seniors and newsletter subscribers: 96 NIS. Price for each lecture: 40 NIS. Price for the "Ayelet Hachen" performance: 60 NIS. Limited space - order tickets in advance.
