Roni Ish-Ran Returns to Nahla'ot

Nahla'ot: A neighborhood that is an entire world: with simplicity and warmth, the strange and the familiar, the sacred and the mundane. This musician and payytan from Nahla'ot, Roni Ish-Ran, sets out on a moving personal literary and musical journey to the beloved alleyways of his childhood. In this show Roni Ish-Ran hosts the Beit Abba band, a unique Jerusalemite ensemble that produces and performs ethnic, original, and tradition music with a contemporary twist. Together, they perform Jerusalem piyyutim and Turkish music along with original compositions.
