The city of Jerusalem continues its recent tradition of summer concerts by showcasing upcoming Jerusalem musicians in the Liberty Bell Park's amphitheater. The six-week series presents various types of music from flamenco to Chassidic soul music and more.
June 15: Chitola and Department of Funk (Jerusalem Groove, two bands playing their versions of funk, acid jazz, and disco)
June 22: Maureen Nehedar (From Tehran to Jerusalem, combining soul and Persian music)
June 29: Fiesta Flamenco draws inspiration from the shores of Southern Spain, adding a local Israeli flavor
July 6: Naor Carmi (Chassidic beats of Eastern Europe)
July 13: Twice the music with Daniel Zamir (jazz/world music with a Jewish, klezmer twist) and Chaos (sounds of Jerusalem, Istanbul, the Balkans, and more)
July 20: Michael Grailsamer, a virtuoso violinist and singer (Irish reggae)
