The Museum of Islamic Art presents a jewelry making demonstration on Tuesday, March 10 at 11:00 and 16:00. Ben Zion David, an eight generation member of a jewelry making family from Yemen will create a piece of jewelry out of a thread in the museum's open space. Visitors are invited to watch, as well as browse fascinating photos of his family in Yemen. As befits Yemenite tradition, coffee and dates will be served. Advance reservations recommended.
