Hama'abada presents the MAURICE EL MÉDIONI Trio (France/Algeria). Medioni, the legendary pianist, who has won the BBC prize for world music, appears, at the young age of 80, around the world with various ensembles and with his disciple Sheb Halad. Medioni's shows draw large and eclectic audiences, young and old, who enjoy his ability to amaze the crowd with Cuban rhythms, Boogie, and Jazz, combined with "Raï" - a style of Algerian folk music, and Andalusian music.
The event takes place within the framework of Hamshushalayim 2010.
