The Ron Shulamit Conservatory presents "The Concert of the Century": celebrating 100 years of classical music, with the Jerusalem Camerata Orchestra, world renown soloists, and "wunderkind", performing pieces by Beethoven, Mozart, Hayden, and more.
An event not to be missed!
As Israel's first music school, the Conservatory provided training for renowned virtuosos Itzhak Perlman, Shlomo Mintz, Pnina Salzman, Varda Nishri, Ivry Gitlis, Daniel Benyamini, Rami Bar-Niv, and other musicians of extraordinary talent. The evening will include an address by the Mayor of Jerusalem, and a film chronicling the first 100 years of classical music in Israel including interviews with some of Ron Shulamit's famous students. The concert will feature exceptional Conservatory students accompanied by the Israel Camerata Orchestra, conducted by Elli Jaffe. Among the pieces to be performed:
*Beethoven's Triple Concerto, performed by Vera Vaidman (violin), Ina Esther Joost (cello), and Marina Kaminker (piano).
*Allegro appassionato for Cello by Saint Saens
* Piano Concerto in D Major by Haydn
*Piano Concerto in C Major by Mozart
* World debut of a new Israeli composition
