The Tower of David Museum presents "Purim for Four Hands": four hands, two artists and a whole host of colorful characters
Thursday, March 8 from 10:30 - 16:00
Come celebrate fantasy, color and movement in the exhibition "Jerusalem" for Four Hands that showcases the animated films of the artists Emanuele Luzzati and Giulio Gianini and a behind the scenes look at the work entailed in such brilliant films.
Through a guided tour of the citadel and the exhibition, we will accompany the children into a world of fantasy, color and movement. We will discover how illustrations become vivid characters, how we ourselves can become theater puppets and along the way we will learn about the vibrant history of Jerusalem. A special story hour is based on the book, Michael and the Monster from Jerusalem written by Meir Shalev and illustrated by Emanuele Luzzati.
In the creative workshop, children will create their very own 3-D "Castle Theater" - a unique souvenir for each child to take home.
