Beit Avi Chai presents "The Shem Tov Levy Ensemble Hosts Paytan Maimon Cohen": The Shem Tov Levi Ensemble hosts paytan Maimon Cohen in a special evening of Levy's melodies and songs together with the ensemble's unique arrangements of piyyutim from various Jewish traditions.
The works will include "Shirei Sof ha-Derekh" (Leah Goldberg); "Shuvi le-Veitekh" (Dalia Ravikovitch); "Be-Leilot ha-Stav" (David Fogel); the piyyutim "Agadelkha" and "Ben-Adama" (R. Judah Halevi); "Be-Veit ha-Sar" (Ibn Ezra); "Dror Yikra"; "La-Moledet Shuvi Roni," and pieces from Windmills and Circle of Dreams.
