The Israel Museum presents an exciting array of performances, workshops, and activities for the whole family over the Purim holiday, on March 20-21, 2011.
Esther the Disaster - Musical Circus with the Israel Stage Orchestra
The amazing story of Esther the Disaster, a control freak who directs a traveling musical circus, her husband Evil Oman, a kind-hearted acrobat, their talented son Primary Mordechai, who failed to complete primary school, and Achashbarosh, a clown who regularly suffers from headaches.
The performance will be accompanied by music by Bach, Haydn, Schubert, Khachaturian, Leonard Bernstein, Richard Rogers, Edith Pilaf, Yuri Pavlozki, and Maars. Conducted by Roni Porat; written by Shlomo Moscovitch and Roni Porat; performed by Emanuel Hanun, Roni Porat, Rusti Warhurst, and Shai Almagor.
