This Purim, the Museum for Islamic Art invites the whole family to attend a captivating theater performance, participate in arts and crafts workshops, and, as always, to visit the Museum's exhibitions.


Schedule of Purim events on Sunday and Monday, March 20-21, 2011:

"One Thousand Nights" - Sunday and Monday at 12:00. A fascinating theater performance, full of mystery and lore. The show is interactive and children are actively invited to participate and become part of the show. Cost is included in the regular museum entrance fee. To order tickets, click here.


Arts and Crafts Workshops for children: Over the Purim holiday the museum will offer a wide variety of arts and crafts workshops for children, inspired by the themes of the current exhibits. Projects include: clocks and watches, musical instruments, hamsas, weapons, and more. In addition, there will be special Purim themed workshops where children can prepare projects such as decorated masks, noise makers, decorated drums, hamsas, and more.
